Role Summary

As the Project Manager of a multi-national, multimillion, multi-year project, you will work closely with UX Architects and BAs to work out the project roadmap, create user stories, functional specification documents, feature specifications, sitemaps and will ensure the effective and efficient completion of each task.

We are recruiting an experienced and dynamic German speaking Agile Project Manager who will manage the delivery of an enterprise project with the guidance of an incredibly experienced Programme Director.

The successful candidate will foresee and overcome potential impacts on productivity, ensure communication with clients is transparent and consistent and ensure minimal disruption to budget and planned timeframes.

If you are keen to be part of a successful and focused project team, are a fluent German speaker, you possess and an ability to ask penetrating questions, dig out unstated assumptions and resolve problems then this could be the role for you.


Key Responsibilities

• Identify and clarify both the project and product scope.
• Ensure an iterative approach to managing software development projects that focuses on continuous releases and incorporating customer feedback with every iteration.
• Manage, direct and develop all parts of the project.
• Keep the project deliverables on track in sometimes tricky situations.
• Have a thorough understanding of Scrum and Kanban.
• Be responsible for tracking and reporting project status to project team members and project stakeholders.
• You will ensure there is a firm understanding of the current position of all projects under your control.



Required Knowledge and Skills


• Proven experience of managing apps and website builds from start to finish.
• Naturally confident at project initiation stage.
• Exemplary financial management of projects.
• Able to focus on the bigger picture as well as on day to day tasks.
• Able to approach challenges with intelligent solutions and to thrive in pressured environments.
• Experience of managing crisis situations with positive outcomes.
• Ability to prioritise workload, risks and issues.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project / Smartsheet or similar.
• Demonstrated knowledge of User Experience principles and techniques.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager in a web/digital agency environment is essential.
• Comfortable managing relationships at a senior level within large corporations.
