Client-side Head of UX & Design - Central London - to 85k+ GBP
at Sean Pook in London
Ah ha - finally a Head of UX and Design role that's not with an agency. So, my client are big in the software world and work in multiple countries. Their UX operations are focussed at the London office, and boasts a team of circa 20. They have usability researchers, interaction designers, IAs, and visual designers. We're looking for someone to come on board and manage this creative rabble. When I say rabble it's more like a highly functioning and talented user experience SAS team. But they do need to be directed.
If you're hands-off in the not needing to use Axure but hands-on in the wants to get involved in directing the design strategy kind of sense, then we would love to speak with you.
Usability research will be managed separately, so this role will head up all design activities i.e. the Interaction Design and Visual Design. My client are also looking to grow the team by at least 50%, so experience of hiring for a UX team will be invaluable.
Salary for this will be tailored to the individual, but a good guideline would be £70k to £90k.
Ideal profile: UX manager, Head of User Experience, Head of UX, Lead UX Designer, London, Head of Design, Design Manager
